Leshan

Leshan is where the worlds largest Buddha statue is located. It's about a 2 hour drive from Chengdu. It was a popular place for Chinese tourists and pilgrims to flock to. The Buddha statue is impressive and is carved into a mountainside. I would probably say that I was about the size of one of it's fingernails.
